Welcome to 2015. The year of the hoverboard. WHERE ARE OUR HOVERBOARDS? (and no, sorry, this doesn’t count) Let alone our Flying Delorean’s piloted by a delightfully insane Doc Brown. Sigh. Maybe next year.

2014 was pretty wild, I have to say. I am not going to talk at length here in this news post about all the great stuff that happened, but long story short, I am pretty blown away by the success that the comic saw in it’s first year. If you’d like to get a more in-depth synopsis of all the crazy stuff that happened, you should sign up for the newsletter! Beyond that though, I am even more motivated and excited about the possibilities that lie ahead for this year.

Last night I was interviewed on Comics Coast to Coast by the delightful Brian Dunaway, Joel Duggan, and Matthew Ducharme. You can listen to our conversation HERE. If you have been dying to hear more of my nasally nerd voice and my incredible JFK impression, you will not be disappointed.

ALSO this Sunday I’ll be giving a talk similar to the talk I gave at Hal-Con last year about the evolution of comic strips and where the technology is at currently, and where it is headed. I made a ridiculous promo video for it! . . .

So yes, the talk is going to focus a little more on the technology side of things. I hope to soon post the entire talk online, so stay tuned on that one. As I say in the video, the talk is part of Podcamp 2015 at the Halifax Central Library. Also, I should note that my talk specifically is at 10:15 AM in Program Room 301 on the 3rd floor.
